Most photographers do a lot of portraiture and we are no exception. Many of our oldest portraits have stood
the test of time and still give great pleasure to the families and
individuals they were taken
for.
We adapt our style to your preferences, and can take traditional
posed single or group shots, informal and play shots of children and adults,
the latest high key and colour-modified photographs in modern
presentations - whatever you prefer.
Display Prints
We
supply display pictures in a wide range of materials and styles:
conventional, high quality frames, of course, but for the most modern
and contemporary look, increasingly:
- Art Canvas - the latest 'chunky' ones use a very
deep frame
- Acrylic - clear plastic such as this picture on
the right
- Metal - a metallised, laminated print bonded to a
metal sheet
- 'Gallery' prints - the print floats off
the wall by an inch or two

Baby's first year
A favourite plan is to have a set of three prints of baby's
first year mounted in
a single frame - with portraits taken at 3-4 months, 6-8
months and a year old. We can also print a selection of several pictures
of baby's first year into small (or large if you want!) hard-backed books for
you to keep or give to family. When baby's waking you up at night you don't realise how quickly their
first year will go by - don't miss the opportunity to capture their development.
Family Albums

Albums are not just for weddings, and the new 'coffee table'-style books,
like this one, lend themselves to other purposes as well.
Many people have a drawer full of old photographs that get
damaged and forgotten. We can scan
all or a selection of your old photographs and print them into a bound family
photo album so that they will be safe for years to come. A single printed book
will take a few hundred small prints or a few score larger ones, and for a
really large collection we can spread them out over several volumes. We can have
single editions printed just for you, or we can have extra books printed for several
family members. We can even include text with all or some of the pictures,
helping to remember who the pictures are of, or the event or date when they were
taken. |
Events
Any important event should have a professional
photographer to capture all the images you want reliably and present
them to you in a book or as individual pictures. We can attend
parties, visits, family reunions, prize-givings and award
ceremonies, school and club plays etc. and give you pictures all
will cherish.
